International Business Marathon brings together compatriots in Japan

TOKYO, March 31. /Dunyo IA/. The International Business Marathon of Compatriots was held at the United Nations University in the capital of Japan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The main goal of the marathon was to unite compatriots working professionally abroad on a single platform to exchange innovative and practice-oriented business ideas aimed at the development of Uzbekistan. Special attention was paid to supporting entrepreneurial initiatives among young people and fostering a high culture of doing business.
The event was attended by more than 120 representatives of the Uzbek diaspora, including entrepreneurs, specialists from leading Japanese companies and students enrolled in universities and educational centers across Japan. Their active participation created a unique atmosphere for professional dialogue and the exchange of experience.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Mukhsinhuja Abdurakhmonov and Chairman of the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, Executive Director of the “Yoshlar – Kelajagimiz” Foundation Khayrulla Sattorov. In their speeches, they emphasized the significance of compatriots' involvement in promoting national interests, as well as their contribution to strengthening the scientific, social and economic potential of the country.
During the event, compatriots shared their professional experience and successful practices. Specifically, Nozimjon Khujaev, Executive Project Manager at the Infrastructure Projects Department of “Toyota Tsusho Corporation” and Shokhrukhbek Ibragimov, founder of the “Uzbek Professionals in Japan” (UPJ) society, spoke about implementing business projects in Japan. They also discussed opportunities for introducing innovative technologies and advanced Japanese expertise in Uzbekistan, opening new prospects for economic and technological cooperation.
The marathon concluded with an Uzbek national dastarhan, which served as a platform for informal networking and the further exchange of ideas. This atmosphere allowed participants to strengthen professional ties and discuss prospects for joint initiatives, making the event a significant step in developing entrepreneurial activity and enhancing Uzbekistan's position on the international stage.
