Charity event organized for compatriots in Ankara

• 228ANKARA, May 28 /Dunyo IA/. As part of the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Türkiye organized a charity dastarkhan for compatriots in the Turkish capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event brought together Uzbek students and compatriots residing in Türkiye. During the gathering, guests were served traditional Uzbek plov, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for all participants. Compatriots gathered around a single dastarkhan, where they had the opportunity to communicate and engage in friendly conversations.
During the event, Embassy representatives informed participants about the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan under the leadership of the President, measures aimed at improving the welfare of the population, supporting youth, and strengthening ties with citizens residing abroad. It was also emphasized that the Embassy remains committed to providing practical and legal assistance to compatriots and that citizens’ appeals always remain at the center of attention.
Participants noted that such gatherings play an important role in uniting compatriots living and studying abroad, promoting Uzbekistan’s national values, and further strengthening spiritual ties with the homeland. Compatriots also expressed sincere gratitude for the attention and care extended to them.
