NEW YORK, May 23. /Dunyo IA/. Compatriots from Uzbekistan living in the US and other countries now have the opportunity to significantly simplify the remote payment of various services for their relatives back home through the uPay.net platform, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The project is being developed by Uzbek natives residing in the US – Khusrav Makhmudov and Akmal Abdulaev. The platform is primarily focused on Uzbek citizens living abroad who regularly support their families.
As noted, during meetings with representatives of the Uzbek diaspora and consular receptions held by Uzbek diplomats in the US, compatriots frequently raised issues related to remote access to certain types of services back home.
According to users, the uPay.net platform has helped ease the resolution of such issues and provide more convenient access to paying for various services while being outside the country.
Through the platform, digital payments are available for mobile communications, internet, utilities, and other daily services. This allows Uzbeks living in the US, Canada, Europe and the Middle East to promptly help their families and resolve household issues remotely.
It is reported that the company is actively expanding the platform's capabilities and developing new financial services tailored to the needs of Uzbeks abroad.
The company, founded in New York, continues to cooperate with the Consulate General of Uzbekistan and other diplomatic missions of the country in the US on matters of supporting compatriots and developing digital solutions.
Based on the company's office in Philadelphia, the “Samarkand Philadelphia Digital Hub” and the online platform “InvestInSamarkand.com” have also been created, aimed at developing business, technological, and investment ties with the Samarkand region and other regions of the country.
It is emphasized that such projects contribute to the development of modern digital services, the strengthening of ties with the diaspora, and the expansion of opportunities for Uzbeks living abroad.
