ТАSHKENT, March 27. /Dunyo IA/. On April 1-3, all pavilions of the “Uzexpocentre NEC” will host the 25th anniversary International Exhibition “Food, Ingredients and Production Technologies — UzFood 2026”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event is organised by Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company in partnership with ICA Eurasia Group.
UzFood is widely recognised as a key business platform for the food industry, showcasing cutting-edge developments, modern technologies and the latest sector trends. Over the past 25 years, the exhibition has established itself as an important driver of Uzbekistan’s food market, promoting high-quality food products, advanced equipment and innovative solutions for the food processing industry.
2026 anniversary edition has set a new benchmark in terms of scale and international reach, with more than 500 exhibiting companies from 26 countries. The exhibition will feature many leading national and collective stands from Germany, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Korea, Russia, Poland and Thailand. Companies from China, India, Türkiye, Italy and Malaysia will also be widely represented.
The exposition will cover the full spectrum of products and solutions for industry professionals, from ingredients and equipment to finished food products.
The exhibition’s key sections include meat and poultry, dairy products, confectionery, grocery products, beverages, food ingredients and equipment for the food industry.
The 26th International Exhibition of “Packaging, Equipment and Materials – O‘ZuPACK 2026” will showcase packaging, filling and bottling machinery, packaging materials, containers, labels and disposable tableware.
While a specialised section, Bakery Uzbekistan, will present technologies and equipment for the production of bakery and confectionery products.
A key highlight of the exhibition is the traditional Retail Centre, a unique platform for direct negotiations between food suppliers and buyers. Successfully operating since 2019, it will be transformed this year into the Chains Wholesale Centre. The expanded geography of participants and a twofold increase in the number of retailers create additional opportunities for direct contracts. The debut participation of Russian retail chains opens up new prospects for strengthening foreign trade relations and increasing export and import turnover.
Within the framework of the Chains Wholesale Centre, direct B2B meetings will be held between food and beverage producers and representatives of retail chains to discuss product supply to store shelves.
The business programme will also feature masterclasses, presentations of new equipment and industry events, with technologies expected to be introduced into Uzbekistan’s production and trade sectors in the near future.
