Tashkent to host a high-level Agribusiness Forum in the Italy – Central Asia – Azerbaijan format

ТАSHKENT, March 23. /Dunyo IA/. On March 23-24, an international business forum on “Innovation, Regenerative Agriculture, Export and Digitalization for Sustainable Agroecosystems” will be held in Tashkent with the participation of Italy, Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Italian Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida, as well as the ministers and deputy ministers of agriculture from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, are expected to participate in the event.
On the Italian side, more than 120 representatives from leading companies and organizations with high economic potential will participate. Among them are the heads of structures such as ICE (Italian Trade Agency), SACE (Italian Export Credit Agency) and SIMEST (Italian State Investment Agency).
The delegation also includes representatives from major industry associations: “FederUnacoma” (Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation), “Confagricoltura” (General Confederation of Agriculture), “Confindustria” (General Confederation of Industry) and CDP (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti). Additionally, large companies with an annual turnover exceeding 100 million euros—such as CNH, “Agco Italia”, “Granarolo”, “UNITEC” and “Annovi Reverberi” will be in attendance.
The forum will include scheduled B2B and B2G meetings, as well as thematic roundtables. In particular, discussions will cover overseas employment for citizens, featuring major employers such as “Confagricoltura” and “Fruitimprese”, alongside cooperation in education and science with the participation of the universities of Tuscia, Bari, Pisa, Ferrara, Pavia and Turin.
