ISTANBUL, August 17. /Dunyo IA/. Talks were held between the leadership of “Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar” University in Türkiye and Feruz Khomidov, Director of the Aral Sea Clinic of the National Children’s Medical Center of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

At the beginning of the meeting, representatives of Karakalpakstan visited the university’s research laboratories and modern simulation centers equipped with high-tech facilities and innovative medical equipment, and familiarized themselves with advanced technologies employed in scientific research. Turkish specialists briefed the delegation on the university’s capabilities for practical student training, the development of clinical skills and the organization of scientific research.

Following the meeting, the sides reached an agreement to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation.

Under the Memorandum, short- and long-term professional development programs, clinical internships and practical training will be organised for doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals from medical institutions in Karakalpakstan at the clinics of “Acıbadem”, one of Türkiye’s leading medical universities.

The talks also resulted in agreements to introduce advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, implement joint research projects, facilitate exchanges of specialists, and jointly organize international conferences.
