GUANGZHOU, August 14. /Dunyo IA/.  An online meeting was held between women entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and China, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Meeting, organized with the facilitation of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, was attended by representatives of the Guangxi Women Enterprises Chamber, Family and Women Committee of Uzbekistan, “Tadbirkor Ayol” International Association of Business Women, the National Association for Economic Cooperation, as well as executives from a number of Uzbek companies.

According to the Deputy Chairwoman of the Guangxi Women Enterprises Chamber and Head of the “Guangxi Yongjiang Food Industrial” company, the meeting opens up new opportunities for business cooperation between women entrepreneurs of the two sides and can serve as an effective platform for expanding cooperative ties.

Parties agreed to implement joint projects and establish the exchange of practical experience in such fields as agricultural processing, culture, tourism, education, digital technologies, and other areas. Furthermore, with a view to strengthening practical cooperation, an agreement was reached on preparing a cooperation agreement between the Guangxi Women Enterprises Chamber, the “Tadbirkor Ayol” Association, and the National Association for Economic Cooperation of Uzbekistan.

Guangxi Women Enterprises Chamber was established in 2009 by women entrepreneurs of Guangxi as a non-governmental public organization. Currently, the Chamber comprises more than 3,200 companies. The activities of the member companies span over 20 industries, including mechanical engineering, biotechnology, information and communication technologies, real estate, trade and investment, construction materials production, animal husbandry, the food industry, the hospitality business, culture, education and other sectors.
