Uzbekistan and Türkiye sign memorandum of cooperation in spiritual and educational sphere

ANKARA, April 10. /Dunyo IA/. A memorandum of cooperation has been signed in Ankara between Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment of Uzbekistan and Writers' Union of Türkiye, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The signing ceremony held at the Writers' Union of Türkiye in Ankara highlighted the deep historical and spiritual ties between the two nations. It was noted that this agreement is not just a symbolic gesture, but a strategic “roadmap” backed by concrete projects. The signing also marks a vital step in strengthening cultural and spiritual integration across the Turkic world.
Under this memorandum, the parties agreed to implement a series of joint projects as early as 2026. Key focus areas include organizing literary events, strengthening ties between writers, supporting joint publishing initiatives and developing cultural programs.
Special attention will be paid to youth cooperation. The protocol includes educational and social projects to raise the younger generation in the spirit of national and spiritual values. It also provides for student and academic exchange programs, joint symposiums and cultural events between the two countries.
