KUWAIT CITY, July 29. /Dunyo IA/. Carpet products manufactured by “YEC Gilam” LLC in Samarkand have been delivered to the Kuwaiti market, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Embassy of Uzbekistan is actively working to establish new international transport and logistics corridors to ensure stable and swift supplies of domestic products to the markets of Kuwait and Syria.

As part of these efforts, alternative delivery routes have been successfully tested. In particular, carpet products from the Samarkand-based “YEC Gilam” company were delivered for the first time to the Kuwaiti company “Montreal House Wholesale Co” via a new logistics route. According to the Turkish logistics operator “Gulf Cargo”, the new corridor enables freight delivery to Kuwait within 15–20 days.

Concurrently, diplomats are exploring opportunities to organize supplies through the territory of Iraq. On this matter, negotiations have been held with the relevant government agencies and business circles of the country, and the Ministry of Transport of Iraq has expressed its readiness to conduct practical consultations involving interested structures of both states.

Practical results have also been achieved in the Syrian direction. Following the opening of the Trade House and Distribution Center of Uzbekistan in Aleppo in May of this year, new export contracts have been concluded, enabling the first-ever supplies of Uzbek vegetable oil, detergents, and household appliances to Syria. The product delivery time through Türkiye ranges between 10 to 15 days.

Implementation of these new transport corridors will ensure uninterrupted and competitive supplies of Uzbek products to Middle Eastern markets, significantly expanding the export capabilities of domestic manufacturers.
