DELHI, March 19. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, Sardor Rustambaev, held talks with Rajneesh Khullar, Vice President of the Indian technology company “Tejas Networks”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Discussions centered on the prospects for implementing advanced telecommunications solutions in Uzbekistan, the development of 5G networks, and the localization of equipment production within the country.

“Tejas Networks”, a subsidiary of the Indian conglomerate “Tata Group”, is a leading developer and manufacturer of telecommunications equipment and an active participant in the “Make in India” government program. The company's products are exported to over 75 countries and are utilized for building national 4G networks, providing high-speed internet connectivity to rural areas and supporting the defense and public sectors.

During the negotiations, Rajneesh Khullar shared insights from large-scale projects, including the deployment of BSNL's national 4G network and providing internet connectivity to over 250,000 rural settlements. Special emphasis was placed on the company's innovation potential: “Tejas Networks” leads India in telecommunications patents and successfully competes with global giants such as “Nokia”, “Ericsson” and “Huawei”.

The Indian side expressed a strong interest in implementing joint projects in Uzbekistan. Key areas for cooperation include the introduction of 5G standards, development of wireless infrastructure, expansion of high-speed internet in rural regions, localization of equipment manufacturing and the training of qualified engineers.
