Uzbek Muay Thai Fighter to compete for “ONE Championship” World Title

BANGKOK, June 5. /Dunyo IA/. A meeting with the Uzbek Muay Thai athlete Aslamjon Ortikov was held at the General Consulate, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The meeting was also attended by Pattaniya Weichao Chen, a representative of the “TC Muay Thai” school management and Thanyachanit Imsomphot, the athlete's head coach.
During the conversation, it was noted that Aslamjon Ortikov began his athletic training at the “Sport Club Shakhriyor” and has been continuing his professional career at Bangkok's “TC Muay Thai” school for the past four years. By mid-2025, he maintained an undefeated streak in professional sports with a 22–0 record. Thanks to a series of victories in the “ONE Championship” tournaments, the athlete entered the ranks of the organization's most promising young fighters.
On June 26th, the bout for the “ONE Flyweight Muay Thai” world title will take place at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok. The opponent of our compatriot will be Asadula Imangazaliev, a Russian athlete of Dagestani descent.
It is worth noting that local sports publications predict a high technical level and entertainment value for the upcoming fight. According to sports experts, this match will bring together two young, undefeated athletes, and its outcome could determine the future leader of the division.
In turn, the consular officials emphasized that the comprehensive support provided to Uzbek athletes under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is one of the priority areas of state policy. In particular, they highlighted the creation of modern sports infrastructure across the country, the provision of significant financial incentives to winners and medalists of international competitions, admission preferences for athletes entering higher education institutions, as well as special attention to ensuring the employment of experienced athletes in coaching and public activities after completing their sports careers.
The guests were also informed that the General Consulate intends to bring information about the upcoming bout to the attention of compatriots residing in Thailand and call on them to support the Uzbek athlete by attending the match at the stadium.
