FRANKFURT AM MAIN, August 19. /Dunyo IA/. On the eve of the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan, Colin Dürkop, President of the “Uzbekistan–Germany” Friendship Society (Deutsch-Usbekische Gesellschaft e.V.), extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the people of Uzbekistan through Dunyo Information Agency:

- On behalf of the representatives of the “Uzbekistan–Germany” Friendship Society, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the entire Uzbek people on the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan. Happy Independence Day!

Since September 1st, 1991, a new era of grand transformations, economic growth, and social progress has commenced in Uzbekistan. Over the past years, the country has consistently pursued its path of development, achieving significant results in various spheres.

Thanks to reforms, modernization, and openness to the outside world, Uzbekistan today holds a strong position on the international stage, serving as an important anchor state in ensuring stability, peace and cooperation in the Central Asian region.

In the process of development, bilateral ties between Germany and Uzbekistan are also steadily expanding and breaking new ground. For over 30 years, “Uzbekistan–Germany” Friendship Society, through its multifaceted activities, has been making a worthy contribution to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations, developing cultural and humanitarian exchanges and supporting cooperative relations.

We are confident that the relations between our peoples, based on friendship and mutual respect, will continue to develop, enriched by new joint initiatives and projects.

May peace, tranquillity and prosperity always reign on the land of Uzbekistan. We wish the hospitable and noble Uzbek people happiness, health and success. May friendly cooperation, mutual trust, and close ties between Germany and Uzbekistan continue to expand and strengthen in the interests of our peoples.
