Since September 1^st, 1991, a new era of grand transformations, economic growth, and social progress has commenced in Uzbekistan. Over the past years, the country has consistently pursued its path of development, achieving significant results in various spheres.

Thanks to reforms, modernization, and openness to the outside world, Uzbekistan today holds a strong position on the international stage, serving as an important anchor state in ensuring stability, peace and cooperation in the Central Asian region.

In the process of development, bilateral ties between Germany and Uzbekistan are also steadily expanding and breaking new ground. For over 30 years, “Uzbekistan–Germany” Friendship Society, through its multifaceted activities, has been making a worthy contribution to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations, developing cultural and humanitarian exchanges and supporting cooperative relations.

We are confident that the relations between our peoples, based on friendship and mutual respect, will continue to develop, enriched by new joint initiatives and projects.
