Kwak Young-ghil: Uzbekistan is a country of great opportunities, rich historical and cultural heritage and a young and talented generation

SEOUL, August 20. /Dunyo IA/.   Chairman of the South Korean media corporation “Aju News” Kwak Young-ghil, on the eve of the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan, extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the people of Uzbekistan through Dunyo IA:

-  It is a great honour and pleasure for me to greet you on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan.

First and foremost, I wish to sincerely congratulate the people of Uzbekistan on this milestone date and wish the country continued peace, stability, prosperity and new successes.

Over the years of independence, Uzbekistan has traversed a significant path of development, consistently strengthening its statehood, economic potential, and international authority. Today, Uzbekistan occupies an increasingly prominent position in Central Asia and actively expands its relations with nations around the globe.

It is particularly important to highlight the dynamic development of relations between the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan. Our countries are united not only by mutual respect and trust but also by shared interests in fields such as the economy, investment, education, innovation, culture and people-to-people ties.

As a representative of the South Korean media community, I am convinced that the mass media play a special role in strengthening mutual understanding between nations. Objective and meaningful coverage of the events, achievements, and opportunities of our countries allows the Korean society to get to know Uzbekistan better, and the Uzbek public to deeply understand contemporary Korea.

This is precisely why I approach the development of cooperation with the Uzbek side with particular interest and respect.

Today, Uzbekistan is a country of great opportunities, a rich historical and cultural heritage, and a young and talented generation. I am confident that the further development of Uzbek-Korean cooperation will unlock even more opportunities for our countries and create new prospects for future generations.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea for its active efforts in strengthening bilateral relations and for its commitment to developing interaction with the Korean mass media.

I wish Uzbekistan continued prosperity, the people of Uzbekistan peace, well-being, and happiness and the Uzbek-Korean friendship further consolidation and new achievements.

Happy 35th Anniversary of Independence, Uzbekistan!
