MINSK, September 6. /Dunyo IA/.   Chairperson of the Supreme Political Council of the Belarusian Party “Belaya Rus” Olga Chemodanova, extended her sincere congratulations and warmest wishes to the people of Uzbekistan through Dunyo IA on the eve of the 35^th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan:

- The 35^th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan marks an entire era, tracing the nation’s path from its foundational inception to robust modernization. Today, Uzbekistan possesses its own distinct model of development, firmly anchored in national interests, the preservation of its cultural code and the consistent implementation of reforms.

Transformations have gained exceptional momentum in recent years. The economy is expanding at a rate of 7.5 percent, outpacing global averages, a trajectory that is directly translated into an enhanced quality of life for the population. Given that the younger generation constitutes the core asset for development, strategic priority is accorded to the education and self-realization of the youth.

Crucially, Belarus and Uzbekistan share not only a common past but also a unified vision for the future, a synergy further propelled by the deepening of inter-party dialogue. A milestone was reached on May 29^th in Brest with the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the “Belaya Rus” Party and the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan. This document established the foundation for regular consultations, exchange of institutional experience in party-building, and practical cooperation aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and implementing joint ventures in trade and agricultural technologies.

Humanitarian areas are also expanding robustly. In May, a delegation from “Belaya Rus” participated in the II Asian Women’s Forum in Bukhara, where new initiatives aimed at advancing women’s leadership were mutually agreed upon. Furthermore, the ‘Module’ youth project has been expanded as of September, and we look forward to the active participation of Uzbek youth. This will serve to strengthen ties not only between our parties but between our peoples as well.

At the highest level, bilateral relations are entering a fundamentally new chapter. The state visits of Presidents Aleksandr Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev have infused fresh momentum into our cooperation, spanning fields from economy to culture. The strategic goal has been set to elevate mutual trade volume to 1 billion dollars. To provide context, a decade ago this figure stood at approximately 187 million dollars - representing a more than fivefold increase. Today, this is no longer merely transactional trade, but deep industrial cooperation and joint ventures, including agricultural projects in the Vitebsk region driven by the expertise of Uzbek specialists.

In an environment of global instability, the ability of neighbouring states to forge consensus emerges as a primary factor of resilience. For Central Asia, this is of vital consequence. Issues encompassing water management, energy security, transport corridors, and ecological preservation imperatively demand collaborative solutions.

We, the people of Belarus, deeply resonate with the peace-oriented approaches championed by Uzbekistan, and we closely analyse its diplomatic practices.

Today, Uzbekistan stands as a nation looking confidently toward the horizon, while steadfastly preserving its unique soul and time-honoured traditions.

On the occasion of the 35^th Anniversary of Independence, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan, wishing them peace, prosperity, and renewed triumphs. May each successive year of independence bring the nation enduring stability, well-being and milestone achievements!
