Diplomats of Uzbekistan meet with compatriots in the German city of Rheda-Wiedenbrück
RHEDA-WIEDENBRÜCK, May 15. /Dunyo IA/. A meeting was held in the city of Rheda-Wiedenbrück between representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany and compatriots who have started their labor activities at the “Premium Food Group” food production enterprise, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The meeting was attended by around 100 citizens of Uzbekistan working at the enterprise. Primary attention was focused on issues regarding working conditions, compliance with safety regulations and the social protection of workers.
It is noted that in recent years, Uzbekistan has consistently implemented measures to train citizens for in-demand professions abroad and ensure their legal employment. Within the framework of cooperation between the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan and “Premium Food Group”, a system has been organized to train specialists and place them in stable jobs in Germany.
During the visit, the diplomats familiarized themselves with the working and living conditions of their compatriots, as well as the compliance with labour protection and safety requirements at the enterprise.
With the participation of the consul, proposals and petitions from citizens were heard. The participants were provided with clarifications on Germany's migration legislation, employment contracts, social security, insurance, as well as the procedure for obtaining consular and legal assistance.
It was especially emphasized that the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of Uzbek citizens temporarily working abroad is under the constant attention of the state. Compatriots were recommended to maintain regular contact with the embassy and consular offices, and to reach out promptly regarding legal, labour, and daily life matters. The diplomatic mission's readiness to provide comprehensive support to citizens of Uzbekistan in Germany was also noted.
