Uzbek Mother and Her Six Children Return Home from St. Petersburg

SAINT PETERSBURG, August 16. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats of the Consulate General, in cooperation with a representative of Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, assisted citizen M.M. and her six children, who had found themselves in a difficult situation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

As M.M. and her children previously did not have documents confirming their identity and right to leave the country, M.M. was placed in a temporary detention facility for foreign nationals in Russia, while her six children were accommodated at the Transit social shelter for children.

To prevent the prolonged separation of M.M. from her children, the Consulate General promptly arranged the necessary documents. M.M. and her children were subsequently returned to Uzbekistan on the St. Petersburg–Samarkand flight.
