Foreign Diplomats arrive in Nukus: Focus on Karakalpakstan's investment and industrial potential

• 323NUKUS, February 24. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from more than 40 foreign embassies and representatives of international organizations accredited in Uzbekistan arrived this morning in the city of Nukus, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The visit program has been organized by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Investments, Industry and Trade and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
As part of the visit, a meeting is scheduled with Farhod Ermanov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan, during which discussions are expected to focus on expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation.
The program also includes a presentation of Karakalpakstan’s investment, export and tourism potential, showcasing both ongoing and prospective projects.
The cultural component of the visit features a tour of the State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan named after Igor Savitskiy.
A dedicated segment of the visit will introduce diplomats to the operations of the region’s industrial enterprises. Projects to be presented include the production of thermal insulation materials from basalt fibber, the establishment of a textile factory producing mixed-fibber yarn, the organization of radiator manufacturing, and the development of solar panel production.
At the conclusion of the visit, discussions are expected to identify specific areas for collaboration and to establish new business contacts.
