Opening of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent draws media attention in Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK, March 28. /Dunyo IA/. The portal of the Kyrgyzstan information-analytical agency “Alliance-press.kg” has published an article by the Director of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdukhalikov, titled “Center of Islamic Civilization: A Megaproject recognized by the world community”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The project for the Center, initiated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has been completed as a major international humanitarian, scientific, and cultural complex involving specialists from over 40 countries. Over the past year, the facility's construction was finalized and its scientific and exhibition content was significantly expanded.
Center is developing as a modern platform for inter-civilizational dialogue, integrating museum exhibitions, research, education, and digital technologies. A key focus is the return of nearly two thousand unique artifacts and manuscripts, which supports the restoration of the region's historical and cultural heritage.
The publication also highlights the assessments of international leaders who have visited the Center, noting its significance as a space that demonstrates the humanistic essence of Islamic civilization and fosters mutual understanding between nations. According to the author, this megaproject has already become a vital element of global cultural and scientific cooperation and has gained widespread recognition from the world community.
