DOHA, March 4. /Dunyo IA/. Amid continuing instability in the Middle East, more than 500 of our compatriots remain accommodated in hotels across Doha, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Embassy staff are conducting regular visits and providing the necessary practical assistance.

On 3 March, diplomats visited the “La Villa” and “OYYO Hotel”, compiling a list based on the personal details of citizens temporarily residing there.

Representatives of the Embassy, together with the “Vatandosh” Public Foundation, delivered iftar meals to several citizens in need staying at the hotels.

Citizens requiring medical attention were transported to Hamad Hospital.

Assistance was also provided in processing the necessary documentation for the burial of a citizen who died in a road traffic accident in Doha. In cooperation with the competent authorities of Qatar, funeral arrangements were carried out accordingly.

At present, Qatar’s airspace remains closed.
