CAIRO, January 23. /Dunyo IA/.  Representatives of Uzbek companies “Bukhara Textile Cotton” and “Tashkent Cotton Textile” participated in the “DenimsAndJeans Egypt” exhibition, held from 19 to 21 January in Cairo, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the exhibition, Uzbek manufacturers held meetings with representatives of major textile companies from Egypt and the Middle East, showcasing the export potential of Uzbekistan’s textile sector.

The B2B sessions conducted as part of the forum helped identify areas of mutual interest. Discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration, trial shipments, joint ventures and long-term contracts.

As a result of the negotiations, preliminary agreements were reached on supplying Uzbek products to markets in the UAE, Türkiye and Russia as well as on the establishment of exhibition halls and warehouses for Uzbek textile products in Alexandria.
