NEW YORK, January 24. /Dunyo IA/. From 20 to 22 January, the international specialised exhibition “Texworld” was held at the “Jacob K. Javits Convention Center” in New York, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event brought together manufacturers and business representatives from a wide range of countries around the world. Among the participants was a delegation from Uzbekistan, which, with the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York, showcased a broad range of domestically produced textile goods.

Displayed within the national pavilion were fabrics, knitted products, ready-made garments as well as other categories of textile products meeting international quality standards. The exhibition provided an opportunity to highlight Uzbekistan’s growing industrial capacity and its commitment to producing competitive, high-quality textile products for global markets.

The participation of Uzbek companies at “Texworld” was aimed at promoting domestically produced textile goods in international markets, expanding the sector’s export potential and establishing as well as strengthening direct business ties with foreign partners, buyers and representatives of leading international brands.

The showcased exhibition reflected the comprehensive measures being implemented in Uzbekistan to advance deep processing of raw materials, introduce modern production technologies and enhance the global competitiveness of national manufacturers.

As part of the exhibition’s business programme, a series of meetings and negotiations were held, during which participants discussed prospects for further cooperation, terms of potential supply agreements and the implementation of joint projects.

The presence of Uzbek businesses at “Texworld” confirmed the sustained interest of international partners in textile products from Uzbekistan as well as their compliance with the requirements of the global market.
