GUANGZHOU, January 27. /Dunyo IA/.  A delegation of the National Association of Economic Cooperation of Uzbekistan, accompanied by a group of women entrepreneurs, carried out a working visit to the Chinese cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Foshan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

As part of the visit, economic forums and roundtable discussions were held for members of the delegation in cooperation with Chinese partner associations and companies, including the “China - Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference” and the “Uzbekistan - China Economic Exchange”.

In addition, with a view to identifying buyers for export-oriented products manufactured by Uzbek entrepreneurs, a meeting was held with representatives of “Overseas Prominent Brand” (OPB). As a result of the talks, agreements were reached to ensure the broad promotion of products from “Funksional Oziq-Ovqatlar Kombinati” LLC, “XBS Meyve Interprice” LLC, and several other enterprises across OPB’s online and offline platforms.

A product presentation was also organised for major importing companies from Guangdong Province, showcasing high-quality confectionery and sweet products, semi-finished goods and processed agricultural products produced in Uzbekistan, underscoring the country’s growing export potential and competitiveness in the Chinese market.

As a result of the events held, a representative office of the National Association of Economic Cooperation of Uzbekistan was officially opened in Guangdong Province. In addition, cooperation agreements were signed with the “Guangdong General Chamber of Commerce” and “Guangdong Dongzao Investment Management”, marking an important step in strengthening institutional and business ties between Uzbekistan and southern China.
