Major international transport and logistics events held in Tashkent

TASHKENT, November 17. /Dunyo IA/. A series of major international events focusing on key areas of transport sector development were held in the capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Among the key events were the 4th High-Level Dialogue for Asian Countries of the Maritime Transport Forum (MTF), International Forum on Multimodal Transport, Third Meeting of Transport Ministers of Central Asian Countries, Meeting of Transport Ministers of States along the CASCA+ Corridor, as well as the 45th Session of the Coordinating Transport Council of the CIS Member States.
In addition, the 18th Session of the Transport Security Council under the CIS Executive Committee, the International Aviation Forum "Uzbekistan Airports, Aviation & Logistics Forum", the Uzbekistan–Turkey Airlines Forum, Forum of National Airlines of ECO Member States, as well as the "TransLogistics" International Exhibition were held.
Each of these events attracted broad representation from government bodies, international organizations, business communities, and leading experts. Participants were provided with comprehensive platforms to discuss pressing issues concerning the development of transport and logistics systems, the strengthening of regional connectivity, and the expansion of international partnerships.
At the National Exhibition Complex "Uzexpocenter", the opening ceremony was held for the 4th High-Level Dialogue for Asian Countries of the Maritime Transport Forum (MTF), the International Aviation Forum "Uzbekistan Airports, Aviation & Logistics Forum", and the "TransLogistics" International Exhibition.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Transport Minister Ilkhom Makhkamov emphasized that hosting such large-scale and high-profile events at a single venue creates a unique platform for sharing experiences, aligning positions, and developing joint solutions aimed at establishing an efficient, sustainable, and interconnected transport system for the region.
He noted that organizing these forums and conferences in Tashkent underscores Uzbekistan’s growing international standing and highlights the country’s active and constructive role in advancing regional transport cooperation.
