Vienna hosts first high-level meeting of the “Central Asia – Northern Europe” format

TASHKENT, December 5. /Dunyo IA/. Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov took part yesterday in Vienna in the inaugural session of the newly established “Central Asia - Northern Europe” format, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Glad to have our first meeting in the new format “Central Asia - Northern Europe”. - head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - This dialogue builds on the momentum of the “Central Asia – EU” Summit held in Samarkand earlier this year, which elevated our cooperation to the level of strategic partnership.
Emphasized that both regions have vast untapped potential for deeper engagement. We believe the time has come to expand our partnership and enrich it with concrete, forward-looking initiatives”.
Foreign Ministers from Northern Europe including Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland participated in the session.
