WARSAW, December 15. /Dunyo IA/. A ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of the Center for International Relations (CSM) and the THINKTANK hub was held in Warsaw, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Founded in 1995, CSM is an independent non-governmental analytical center focused on international affairs, as well as Polish and European foreign policy. It primarily prepares analytical materials for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2009, CSM has been ranked among the “Leading Public Policy Research Organizations Worldwide” by the University of Pennsylvania, standing out as one of the leading analytical centres in Central and Eastern Europe.

The prestigious event was attended by representatives of Polish government circles, leading think tanks and businesses, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Warsaw, and journalists. Participants exchanged views on global political and economic processes.

As part of the ceremony, the traditional “Best Diplomat” award was presented. This year, among the heads of diplomatic missions from more than 120 foreign countries operating in Poland, the award was given to the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev.

Malgozata Bonikowska, President of the Center for International Relations and Professor at the University of Warsaw, highly praised the extensive and irreversible reforms being carried out across all sectors in New Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that Malgozata Bonikowska is one of Poland’s leading analysts on Uzbekistan’s domestic and foreign policy and provides objective evaluations of the country’s socio-economic reforms. She has visited Uzbekistan multiple times in 2024–2025, including as an international observer during parliamentary elections. She has established close cooperation with several Uzbek analytical centers, including the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan, the International Institute of Central Asia, the Institute for Monitoring Legislation and Legal Policy, the Center for Economic Development Support, and the “Strategy of Development” Center. She has met with the leadership of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and has lectured students at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, sharing her expertise and experience. During her visits to various regions, she observed changes in the country firsthand and contributed to broad European coverage of these developments.

In her remarks, she emphasized that the essence of these reforms has been actively promoted by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan. According to her, thanks to the Embassy’s efforts in Warsaw, bilateral cooperation in 2025 gained new momentum, and Uzbekistan and Central Asia became a priority in Poland’s foreign policy across Asia.

The awarding of the “Best Diplomat 2025” honor to the Ambassador of Uzbekistan recognized his consistent contribution to strengthening Uzbek-Polish cooperation, building mutual trust, and promoting a constructive bilateral agenda. It also reflected the growing understanding and positive perception in Poland about Uzbekistan’s extensive and dynamic modernization processes, its foreign policy, and the role of Uzbek diplomacy in communicating these changes to European partners.
