Ambassador of Uzbekistan met with the Chairman of the Committee of the Sejm - lower house of Parliament of Poland

WARSAW, February 24. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Amirsaid Agzamkhodjayev has met with Paweł Kowal, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm - the lower house of the Polish Parliament, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the talks, the parties discussed issues of further developing inter-parliamentary cooperation and expanding collaboration between Uzbekistan and Poland in the trade, economic, transport and logistics sectors.

The Polish parliamentarian expressed gratitude for the high level of organization during his visit to Uzbekistan in January of this year and emphasized the importance of further strengthening the bilateral dialogue.

During the meeting, particular attention was paid to the effective functioning of transport corridors linking Uzbekistan and Poland, which play a vital role in the further development of trade and economic relations and the expansion of mutual trade.

Polish side was provided with detailed information regarding the annual Tashkent International Investment Forum, organized at the initiative of the Head of our State. It was noted that the forum aims to present the investment potential of Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries, attract foreign investment and expand international economic cooperation.

In turn, the Polish side highly commended the role of the forum in increasing Uzbekistan's investment attractiveness and accelerating regional integration processes. The parties reaffirmed their readiness to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation across all areas.
