ТАSHKENT, July 15. /Dunyo IA/.    Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov and Rashid Meredov, held narrow-format talks yesterday in Ashgabat, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Had a comprehensive discussion on further deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, ensuring the effective implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level, and maintaining the steady momentum of our political dialogue.

Also focused on expanding cooperation in the areas of trade and economic relations, transport and logistics, energy, cultural and humanitarian ties, as well as cross-border cooperation. In addition, we coordinated our approaches to key issues on the regional and international agenda.

Once again reaffirmed our readiness to continue close cooperation aimed at strengthening good-neighborly relations, ensuring stability, and promoting sustainable development in Central Asia”.
