ТASHKENT, July 15. /Dunyo IA/.     Yesterday in Ashgabat, a next round of political consultations took place between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Delegation of Uzbekistan was led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov and Turkmen delegation by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

“Following our restricted-format talks, we held the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Conducted a comprehensive exchange of views on the implementation of the tasks set by our Heads of State, all priority areas of bilateral cooperation, as well as key issues on the regional and international agenda.

This mechanism continues to serve as an important platform for maintaining regular dialogue between our foreign ministries, identifying new avenues of cooperation and shaping a substantive agenda for upcoming meetings at the highest and high levels”.
