ТАSHKENT, September 17. /Dunyo IA/.   Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with Ichiro Takahara, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Japanese Organization – JOGMEC in Tokyo, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Had a meeting with Mr. Ichiro Takahara, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of JOGMEC, a Japanese corporation specializing in ensuring the security of strategic resources in the oil, gas and metals sectors, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Discussed expanding geological exploration in Uzbekistan, developing critical minerals and attracting advanced Japanese technologies to these areas.

Also expressed interest in expanding cooperation in mineral processing and beneficiation, improving the quality of metallurgical products, human resource development and research and development”.
