Newly Appointed Ambassador of Sweden accredited to Uzbekistan

ТАSHKENT, September 10. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Sweden with residence in Stockholm Martin Rosen, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Pleased to receive the credentials of H.E. Martin Rosen, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Uzbekistan, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Uzbekistan–Sweden relations have gained significant momentum in recent years.
Emphasized the importance of expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as promoting direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.
Wished Mr. Ambassador every success in his new position and reaffirmed our readiness to work together to take bilateral relations to a new level”.
It is worth noting that Uzbekistan and Sweden established diplomatic relations on April 8th, 1992.
Martin Rosen succeeds Tomas Danestad, who was accredited as the Ambassador of Sweden to Uzbekistan from 2022 to 2026.
