TASHKENT, May 29. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a roundtable meeting with representatives of leading Italian companies in Rome, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Today in Rome, we held a roundtable meeting with about 30 Italian businesses, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. – Had a candid discussion with these leading companies on the future implementation of joint projects in energy, textile, transport, IT, engineering, and other areas. Underscored the enormous potential to utilize in economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Italy, especially in B2B format. Grateful to Deputy Foreign Minister H.E. Maria Tripodi for her support".

It is worth recalling that the delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, is in the Italian capital on May 28-29, where it will take part in the third ministerial conference in the "Italy – Central Asia" format and will hold a number of bilateral negotiations.
