Compatriots in the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan widely celebrated Navruz

ALMATY, April 15. /Dunyo IA/. A festive event dedicated to Navruz was organized in the village of Karabulak, Sayram district, Turkestan region (Kazakhstan), in collaboration with the "Vatandoshlar" Foundation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty, representatives of the Uzbek National Cultural Center in Kazakhstan, teachers and students from local schools, university students, schoolchildren, and artists from Uzbekistan.
Guests were greeted by the Deputy Head of the "Vatandoshlar" Foundation, representatives of the Kazakh-Uzbek National Cultural Center, diplomats from the Consulate General, and others. They emphasized the importance of the exemplary policy of trust and cooperation pursued by the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Local folk ensembles performed Uzbek national songs and dances, and modern songs were sung by Uzbek artists, which received high praise from the local audience.
At the conclusion of the event, the "Vatandoshlar" Foundation presented books in the Uzbek language by world and national classics to the schools and colleges in Sayram district and the village of Karabulak. These gifts were a symbolic contribution to the development of education, the study, and support of the Uzbek language.
A festive table was also set up for the participants of the event.
