GUANGZHOU, July 3. /Dunyo IA/. The "China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair" was held in Guangzhou, featuring a presentation on the investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan informed participants about the comfortable and secure business environment established for foreign companies, the system of benefits and incentives, promising regional industries, and prospective projects.

Participants noted that the visa-free regime and the increasing number of interregional flights between the two countries are creating additional opportunities to enhance mutual trade, economic exchange, and cooperation between business and tourism representatives.

On the sidelines of the fair, Uzbek diplomats met with Gao Yilin, Vice President of the Guangdong Business Federation, to discuss organizing Chinese business missions to regions of Uzbekistan to explore promising projects offered to foreign investors, as well as ensuring the participation of entrepreneurs in forums, exhibitions, and fairs.

The "China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair" has been organized since 2004 by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China and the Guangdong provincial government. The fair hosts over 1,000 enterprises and attracts more than 100,000 visitors, providing a platform for local companies to showcase their products, establish contacts with buyers worldwide, and open new business opportunities.
