GUANGZHOU, September 7. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the General Consulate in Guangzhou held a series of events in Hunan Province aimed at intensifying Uzbek-Chinese interregional cooperation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During meetings with the leadership of the relevant provincial departments, plans were agreed upon for the mutual exchange of delegations and the participation of representatives from Tashkent and Bukhara regions in the sister cities forum, which will be held in the city of Changsha on September 18–20^th of this year, along with presentations on the investment potential of our country's regions.

Within the framework of the “Hunan Enterprises: Investment in Central Asia” forum, a presentation was given on the trade, economic, investment, and tourism potential of Uzbekistan. The participants were briefed on the favourable business climate created in the country and the opportunities for establishing export-oriented production facilities.

During the negotiations with leading Chinese companies, including Yanjin Group, Hunan Construction Investment Group, SNTO and Bosen Group, the prospects for implementing projects in the fields of food processing, logistics, construction and green energy were discussed.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize visits of PRC business representatives to Uzbekistan.
