Uzbekistan diplomats discuss support measures and business development opportunities with compatriots in Türkiye

ANKARA, May 20. /Dunyo IA/. A “round table” discussion featuring compatriot entrepreneurs operating in Turkey was held, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The online meeting brought together compatriot entrepreneurs working across various business sectors. During the event, participants shared insights into their commercial activities, ongoing projects, achieved results and future business plans.
In particular, Shakhnoza Safarova has been engaged in agricultural entrepreneurship in the city of Antalya since 2016. Through the “Shehnaz Hanim” farm, she manages the production and supply of various organic products.
Dilnoza Abidova has been running a business in the national cuisine sector in Ankara since 2015. The café she manages extensively promotes Uzbek and Uyghur national cuisine, while advancing the culture of traditional dining abroad.
Tahmina Saliyeva graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul Aydın University in 2023 and currently operates in the legal services sector in the city of Antalya. As a co-founder of the “HT Huquq va Konsalting” company, she provides legal and consulting services to citizens.
Additionally, Shakhzoda Yurekli has established a business in the cleaning services sector for hotels and hospitality facilities. Since 2016, she has been a co-founder of the “Ortun” cleaning company in Antalya.
Nurbek Yuzboyev, together with his spouse, runs a business in Ankara specializing in the tailoring, sale and rental of women's dresses for weddings and various formal events.
During the round table, participants shared their views and proposals on further expanding their business activities, attracting investments, increasing export potential, and strengthening cooperation between the business communities of Turkey and Uzbekistan.
The meeting also addressed issues concerning comprehensive support for compatriot entrepreneurs in Türkiye, the protection of their rights and interests, the establishment of new business contacts, and the exchange of experience.
As part of the event, participants were briefed on the upcoming “Compatriot Entrepreneurs Forum”, which is scheduled to take place in June of this year.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of supporting the proposals and initiatives put forward by the entrepreneurs, organizing regular meetings with compatriot business owners, further developing mutual cooperation and implementing joint projects in the future.
