TASHKENT, May 20. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov today received the Ambassador of Algeria Mohamed Irki who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Had a meeting with H.E. Mohamed Irki, Ambassador of Algeria to Uzbekistan, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Expressed sincere appreciation for his efforts in strengthening and advancing bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Algeria.

Wished the Ambassador every success in his future endeavors”.

It should be recalled that Mohamed Irki was appointed as Ambassador of Algeria to Uzbekistan in late 2023. On 7 May 2024, he presented his credentials to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
