Publication notes that the initiative was implemented at the proposal of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with the participation of more than 2,000 scientists from various countries. Newspaper emphasizes that the establishment of such a center in Uzbekistan is only natural, as the region has for millennia served as a crossroads for trade routes, cultures, religions and scientific schools.
