“London Post”: Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan is gradually emerging as a prominent intellectual and humanitarian hub

LONDON, April 17. /Dunyo IA/. An article entitled “Center for Islamic Civilization: A Megaproject recognized by International Community” has been published on the website of the British news portal "London Post", reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Publication notes that a year ago, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Center of Islamic Civilization and outlined priority tasks aimed at enriching its exhibitions with scientific and innovative content, with the participation of both domestic and international scholars. Over the past period, the construction of the complex has been fully completed and experts from more than 40 countries have been engaged in enhancing its content within a unified conceptual framework.

It is emphasized that the completion of the Center was announced from the high rostrum of the United Nations in September 2025, after which it attracted significant attention from the international community.

Today, Center is actively visited by foreign delegations, heads of state and representatives of international organizations, who highly commend its scientific and cultural substance.

Article highlights that the establishment of the Center is viewed as a timely and well-considered response to contemporary global challenges, including the weakening of inter-civilizational dialogue.

The author recalls that as early as 2017, President of Uzbekistan addressed the UN platform with an initiative to restore an objective understanding of Islamic civilization as a source of knowledge, enlightenment and humanistic values.

The project has received broad international recognition. In particular, Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, along with a number of world leaders, has highly assessed the significance of the Center as a platform for promoting dialogue, mutual respect and countering distorted interpretations of Islam.

In conclusion, article underscores that the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan is steadily establishing itself as a significant intellectual and humanitarian space.

Project contributes not only to the preservation of rich historical and cultural heritage, but also to the advancement of international cooperation grounded in the principles of mutual understanding, respect and the exchange of knowledge.
