New Ambassador of Uzbekistan took up his duties in Jakarta

JAKARTA, November 4. /Dunyo IA/. The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Oybek Eshonov arrived in the capital of Indonesia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

He is 57 years old. He graduated from the faculty of Oriental studies at Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan), as well as the Academy of State Construction under the head of our state. From 2008 to 2017, he served as ambassador to Israel. Prior to his appointment, he served as head of the Department for Cooperation with countries of South Asia, the Near, Middle East and Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He speaks Persian and English.
Oybek Eshonov replaced Ulugbek Rozikulov, who headed the Embassy in Jakarta from 2018 to 2022 and was appointed Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzavtosanoat.
