Ambassador of Uzbekistan presented credentials to the President of Slovakia

BRATISLAVA, March 7. /Dunyo IA/. The First Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Slovakia residing in Vienna Bakhtiyor Ibragimov presented his credentials to the President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the conversation that took place after the official ceremony at the Grassalkovich Palace in Bratislava, the current state of relations between Uzbekistan and Slovakia, as well as the prospects for their development, were discussed.
Both sides emphasized that bilateral relations have reached a qualitatively new level in recent years and expressed satisfaction that significant joint events in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres are planned for the current year.
It is worth noting that Bakhtiyor Ibragimov is accredited as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Austria, Albania, and Slovakia. In November 2023, the diplomat presented his credentials to the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen. In January 2025, credentials were presented to the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj. In October 2023, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov was also accredited as the official representative of Uzbekistan to several international organizations, including the OSCE, UNODC, IAEA, and other UN structures in Vienna.
