“China Daily”: Uzbekistan-China Partnership enters a more mature and strategically important stage

BEIJING, September 9. /Dunyo IA/.   China-based English-language newspaper “China Daily” has published an article titled “A New Horizon for China-Uzbekistan Ties”, dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan and the development of bilateral partnership, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Article notes that China is one of Uzbekistan’s key partners in the process of economic and technological transformation. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of the “Uzbekistan-2030” strategy, industrial modernization, technology transfer, digitalization, development of artificial intelligence (AI) and green energy.

Newspaper highlights Uzbekistan’s plans to increase its GDP to more than $240 billion by 2030, raise exports of goods and services to $67 billion, and increase the share of electricity generated from renewable sources to 54 percent.

“As Uzbekistan marks the 35th anniversary of its independence, its partnership with China is entering a more mature and strategically important stage”, article says.

According to the publication, further cooperation could focus on establishing joint innovation centers, expanding vocational training programs, promoting technology transfer and developing industrial and technological cooperation.
