“Eurasia Magazine”: Uzbekistan intends to continue actively promoting the common goals of the Organization of Turkic States

BUDAPEST, May 15. /Dunyo IA/.  An article dedicated to the upcoming informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States in the city of Turkestan has been published in the popular Hungarian magazine “Eurasia Magazine”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The publication notes that the upcoming high-level event is expected to become an important platform for discussing current issues of interaction and determining further priorities for the development of cooperation between the member states.

“The formation of the Turkic integration space has a multi-year history, relying not only on the commonality of language, culture and historical heritage, but also on the rich traditions of the educational and intellectual thought of the Turkic peoples, the article states. - A special role in the emergence of the ideas of cultural and spiritual rapprochement was played by the Jadid movement of the late 19th - early 20th centuries, whose representatives advocated for the development of education, science, the modernization of society and the strengthening of ties between the Turkic peoples”.

According to “Eurasia Magazine”, Organization of Turkic States aims to foster comprehensive interaction among its member states: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan. The publication highlights the upcoming informal summit in Turkestan as a key platform for advancing cooperation based on shared cultural, historical and intellectual traditions.

Among the priority tasks are strengthening mutual trust and good-neighborliness, coordinating foreign policy positions, as well as expanding cooperation in the trade, economic, transport, energy and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Special attention is paid to creating favorable conditions for trade and investment, developing scientific and technological cooperation, and improving the standard of living of the population in the countries of the region.

In conclusion, it is noted that Uzbekistan, consistently advocating for the deepening of practical cooperation and the strengthening of mutual trust in the pan-Turkic space, intends to continue to actively contribute to the implementation of the common goals of the organization. The upcoming agreements and initiatives are designed to give a new impetus to integration processes, promote the sustainable development of the region, and further enhance the international prestige of the Organization of Turkic States.
