TASHKENT, February 26. /Dunyo IA/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, took part in the first ministerial meeting of the Central Asia–United Kingdom format held in London today, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Participated in the first Central Asia – United Kingdom Ministerial Dialogue in London, hosted by H.E. Yvette Cooper, UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, - the head of the MFA of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - The Dialogue served as a timely and substantive platform to exchange views on the region’s economic development challenges and opportunities, and to outline priority areas for expanding trade, investment and connectivity with the United Kingdom.

Particular emphasis was placed on trade diversification, industrial cooperation, sustainable infrastructure development, and unlocking Central Asia’s potential in critical minerals and renewable energy”.
