Prospects for attracting major UAE Hotel Operators to Uzbekistan's Tourism Market under discussion

ABU DHABI, June 10. /Dunyo IA/. On the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Abu Dhabi, an online meeting was held between the Tourism Committee of our country and the Ministry of Economy and Tourism of the UAE, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Muhammad Al-Ahbabi, Director of the Tourism Development Department of the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism, participated in the event.
During the dialogue, UAE side was presented with detailed information on the ongoing work in Uzbekistan aimed at the consistent development of the tourism sector, improving the quality of services, implementing modern infrastructure projects, introducing international standards and attracting foreign investment to the field.
The parties reached an agreement on cooperation regarding the development of Uzbekistan's tourism infrastructure, including attracting leading UAE companies - such as “Ronga”, “Jumeirah Group”, “Emaar Hospitality Group”, “JA Resorts & Hotels”, “Five Hotels & Resorts”, “Habtoor Hospitality” and “Aldar” - to hotel construction and management projects.
Issues regarding preparations for the signing of a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the “Arabian Travel Market Dubai – 2026” international exhibition, which will be held in Dubai from September 14 to 17, were also discussed.
Following the meeting, the UAE side expressed its readiness to facilitate the participation of UAE tourism companies in the 31st International Exhibition “Tourism on the Silk Road - TITF 2026”, which will take place in Tashkent on November 25–27 of this year.
