WARSAW, July 21. /Dunyo IA/.  Uzbek diplomats continue systematic work to ensure the comprehensive protection of compatriots facing difficult life situations abroad, as well as to provide them with the necessary assistance, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In particular, following negotiations conducted by the Embassy representatives in cooperation with the “Artur Grabowski” Law Firm and the Border Guard of Poland, an Uzbek citizen, I.M., a native of the Namangan region, who had been sentenced by a Polish court to three years in prison for committing a fatal traffic accident, was released on parole.

As a result of prompt measures taken by the diplomats, and with the assistance of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex), an air ticket on the Warsaw–Tashkent route was purchased for the Uzbek citizen, enabling him to return to his homeland.
