Pakistan appoints a new Ambassador to Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, July 22. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, received the newly arrived Ambassador of Pakistan to our country, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Received the copies of the credentials of H.E. Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - During the meeting, we held detailed discussions on further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, as well as ensuring the consistent implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.
Identified the expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation, the activation of mechanisms under the Strategic Partnership Council, the increase of bilateral trade, and the development of interregional ties as key priorities.
Wished Mr. Ambassador every success in his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan and reaffirmed our readiness to work closely and effectively together to further enrich our bilateral relations with new substance”.
As a reminder, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu succeeded Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, who headed the Embassy of Pakistan in Tashkent from 2023 to 2026.
