First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Iran in Tehran

TASHKENT, August 19. /Dunyo IA/. The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhromjon A'loev, met yesterday in Tehran with the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Iran Seyyed Reza Salehi-Amiri, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, during the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for developing Uzbekistan-Iran cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

Particular attention was paid to preserving and promoting the common historical and cultural heritage of the two countries, developing tourist exchanges, expanding cooperation between relevant institutions, as well as implementing joint projects in the fields of culture and tourism.

The sides emphasized their interest in further expanding practical cooperation and intensifying contacts between the relevant agencies.
