ISLAMABAD, August 19. /Dunyo IA/. Pakistani outlets “Pakistan State Time,” “Daily The Azb” and “Imroze Pakistan” have published articles highlighting Uzbekistan’s foreign policy and its role in promoting peace, trust and good-neighbourly relations in Central Asia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The publications note that ahead of the 35^th anniversary of independence, Uzbekistan has built an atmosphere of open dialogue with neigh boring countries. Particular attention is given to border delimitation and demarcation, the opening of new checkpoints and cross-border trade zones, as well as the growth of regional trade.

Pakistani media also highlight international support for Uzbekistan’s initiatives and note that Central Asia is increasingly developing as an interconnected economic space.

According to the outlets, the past decade has been a period of strengthening regional trust, open borders and cooperation between Uzbekistan and its neighbours.
