ISLAMABAD, January 18. /Dunyo IA/.  Leading Pakistani media outlets are giving extensive coverage to a video conference meeting devoted to the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the country’s foreign diplomatic missions, held under the chairmanship of President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Reports published by “Associated Press of Pakistan”, “Daily Islamabad Post”, “Daily Ittehad”, “Daily Sub News”, “Sub News English”, “The Europe Today”, “Media Online Today”, “Margalla Tribune”, “Times of Central Asia”, “Daily Independent”, “News Network Pakistan” and other leading and widely read media outlets note that President of Uzbekistan underscored the growing global geopolitical risks and the need to modernise the work of the foreign policy apparatus and diplomatic missions abroad.

“Since 2017, 16 new missions and consulates have opened, raising the total to 60 in 165 countries with diplomatic ties and embassy staffing and salaries have also grown.
