KUALA LUMPUR, June 12. /Dunyo IA/. The annual socio-economic forum of Southeast Asia’s leading digital media company “AsiaOne” was held in the Malaysian capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the forum, participants discussed Uzbekistan’s recent achievements, ongoing international engagement, and socio-economic reforms, including developments in tourism and related sectors.

It was announced at the event that Karomidin Gadoev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia, was awarded the “Diplomatic Excellence” prize for 2026 and received a special recognition award.

Organizers noted that the award reflects the steady development of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Malaysia, particularly in trade, tourism, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.

The forum also resulted in agreements on joint media initiatives, including the preparation of dedicated coverage on Uzbekistan’s tourism potential for upcoming editions of the publication.
